Artist Talk in the Garden: Jennifer Khoshbin with Naomi Shihab Nye

Join us for a creative evening with an artist-led exploration of a contemporary mural in the Reflections of Nature exhibition! During this outdoor talk, guests will learn about the artist’s creative approach, installation process, and other works they have created. After the talk, participants will enjoy a reading by renowned poet Naomi Shihab Nye. The evening begins with a beverage from the Garden’s Shop, before setting off on this immersive, art-meets-nature experience. Before the talk, feel free to enjoy the Garden for a fun, self-guided journey!

This session features Jennifer Khoshbin. Jennifer Khoshbin is a San Antonio public artist, having exhibited in cities, galleries, and museums throughout the US, and published and written about widely. She is committed to beautiful artistry and community engagement through thoughtful public and private art installations and collections. Born in Philadelphia, she was exposed to art at an early age through her extended family of contemporary and craft artists. Khoshbin studied at the University of Texas, Austin, and the University of Kentucky, graduating with degrees in Sociology and Art.
