Family Workshop: Beautiful Bug Hotels
Saturday, September 27, 2025 | 1 pm – 2:30 pm
Are creepy crawlies leaving your home a 1-star review? Join Garden educators in this hands-on workshop to create a bug hotel for your backyard critters and enjoy a small presentation on what types of beneficial bugs might enjoy the dwelling you built for them! Complete with a sturdy wooden base frame, cardboard tubes, found plant materials, and more these homemade hotels will have your bugs feeling, “as snug as a bug in a rug”. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Contact sdudley@sabot.org with questions.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
Fee: $17 adult ($12 adult member); $13 child ($10 child member).
