Employment Opportunities

Director of Development

The Director of Development is responsible for the overall advancement strategy for the San Antonio Botanical Garden and seeks to move the organization towards a culture of philanthropy by integrating fundraising and communications efforts across all aspects of the Garden.

Director of Horticulture

The Director of Horticulture is responsible for the excellent management and growth of the Botanical Garden’s diverse plants and horticultural displays throughout the 38-acre garden.

Senior Manager Sales & Events

The Senior Manager Sales & Events is responsible for the overall success of the department. This person will have revenue goals as well as non-monetary goals such as quantity and quality of events.

Culinary and Wellness Assistant

Under the direct supervision of Culinary and Wellness Programs Specialist, the Culinary and Wellness Assistant is responsible for supporting the Botanical Garden’s Culinary and Wellness Program.

Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in volunteering at the Botanical Garden? No experience is needed—just a love of the Botanical Garden and a desire to support its mission. The minimum age to volunteer at the Botanical Garden is 12 and volunteers younger than 15 years must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers working with children or handling money must consent to a background check. Learn more on becoming a volunteer.
