The San Antonio Botanical Garden serves as a nexus for companies seeking to broaden their environmental leadership and corporate social responsibility. Open to senior leadership, the newly established Corporate Roundtable on Sustainability provides an informal, collaborative forum for companies committed to bringing conservation and sustainability to their operations.
Three times per year, local executives gather at the Botanical Garden for 90-minute presentations from companies with demonstrated strengths and successes. Topics range from creating sustainable facilities and incorporating cutting-edge systems that often improve the bottom line to increasing employee commitment to sustainability in the workplace and measuring specific long-term goals. Participants discuss their aspirations, share best practices, exchange ideas and support each other’s goals and challenges.

In-kind support provides direct budget relief for the Botanical Garden. The organization relies on products and services for many programs as well as day-to-day operations. Volunteer opportunities at the Botanical Garden vary by season as well as current needs. The minimum age to volunteer at the Botanical Garden is 12, and volunteers younger than 15 years must be accompanied by an adult. Learn more
