Retirement Plan or Life Insurance

Gifts through estate plans are not for everyone. Some prefer the increased flexibility that a beneficiary designation provides by using:

  • IRAs and retirement plans
  • Life insurance policies
  • Donor-advised funds
  • Commercial annuities

It is very simple to name the San Antonio Botanical Garden as a beneficiary. Start by requesting a change-of-beneficiary form from your policy administrator or download the form from your provider’s website. Make your desired changes and return the form to establish your gift.

Other Planned Gifts to Consider
Do you want to support the San Antonio Botanical Garden, but worry about having enough income for yourself and your loved ones? Life-income gifts such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts can provide donors with an income stream, significant tax savings, and the satisfaction of providing the Botanical Garden with long-term resources.
