Saturday, April 12, 2025 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Foraging is a skill that anyone can pick up, but wouldn’t you like to be taught by the people who wrote the book? Eric Knight and Stacy Coplin, authors of Foraging Texas, are back at the Garden to teach us about eating the free fruits of nature and this time with a quick culinary demo attached! In this class we’ll be enjoying a lecture by super experts Eric and Stacy and then they’ll lead us on a plant walk. After, Stacy will provide a quick demo on a delicious, foraged snack which we’ll prepare ahead of time so that everyone can partake in the yumminess. If you want to carry the incredible edible plant wisdom and ethnobotanical knowledge into the future and eat free, usually healing food right outta your neighborhood, join us!
Instructors: Garden Culinary Team and Eric Knight and Stacy Coplin
Fee: $25 per person ($20 for members) Registration closes Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 9 a.m.
