Date Night: Frida’s Fiestas
Thursday, August 26 | 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Frida’s Fiestas – a cookbook and personal account of Guadalupe Rivera, the daughter of Diego Rivera and his second wife, Guadalupe Marín – features more than 100 dishes served in the Frida Kahlo and Rivera household. Join Chef Katrina Flores for a journey into the life of Frida with recipes featured in the chapter on August: Frida & Diego’s Wedding. Learn to make white rice with plantains, chiles stuffed with picadillo in red sauce and for dessert flan. Recipes included. Ages 21+. Contact kflores@sabot.org with questions.
Fee: $85 per couple ($76.50 per couple member). Registration deadline is Tuesday, August 24 at 6:30 p.m.
