Dementia Friendly Gardening Workshop
Location
Designed for people living with dementia and their caregivers, please join us for this dementia-friendly gardening class. Come ready to get your hands dirty, learn from caring educators and volunteers, and spend time with others! Hands-on activities include planting, pruning, and exploring plants at your own pace. Classes will take place indoors and outdoors, depending upon weather. Produced in partnership with UT Health San Antonio’s Caring for the Caregiver program at the San Antonio Botanical Garden, this class is designed to promote improved mental health, quality of life, and opportunities for social connection for people living with dementia and their caregivers.
