Plants/Place – Virtual Ethnobotanical Interpretation – Distance Learning
Location
Thursday, September 29, 2022 | 6:30 – 8 p.m.
Using ethnobotany in public gardens is a great way to engage new and diverse audiences; making it virtual provides access regardless of location, income, or whether or not you’re willing to brave the Texas summer sun. In this program, exhibit curator Maeve Bassett will introduce virtual exhibit Plants/Place: The Ethnobotany and Preservation of Our Native Plants, its goals, and how it came to be. Sponsored by San Antonio Water System. This is a distance learning class; participants will require a computer and internet connection. A web link will be sent 24 hours prior to program start.
Fee: $10 ($9 member). Registration deadline is September 28 by 6:30 p.m. WaterSaver Rewards Eligible.
