No effort is too small when it comes to conserving water and helping our local native flora and fauna. Learn about some of the simple ways you can work with your space to make the most of the rain that falls there while also helping support birds, butterflies, solitary bees and other pollinators. Join Lee Marlowe to learn about local native plants and the animals they support, management approaches to maximize water conservation and habitat benefits, and other simple ways be a good steward in small and urban settings. Sponsored by the San Antonio Water System.
Fee: $15 ($13.50 member). Registration deadline is at time of event. WaterSaver Rewards Eligible. Fee includes entrance to Garden.
Instructor: Lee Marlowe is the Sustainable Landscape Ecologist for the San Antonio River Authority and President of the San Antonio Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas.
