Make Music San Antonio is inspired by France’s “Fête de la Musique,” a national music holiday that began in 1982. Since its inception, this event has blossomed into an international sensation, celebrated on the same day in over 750 cities across 120 countries, including Germany, Italy, Greece, Russia, Lebanon, Ivory Coast, Australia, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nigeria, Canada, and Japan.
On June 21st from 10 AM to 10 PM, the San Antonio Botanical Garden and Alamo City Arts are teaming up to present a music festival at the Betty Kelso Center. This event will feature a diverse range of musical genres, from classical to rock to mariachi to swing dance, to name a few. Clear your schedule and join us for a day of live music and the beauty of the Garden.
