Frida’s Fiestas – a cookbook and personal account of Guadalupe Rivera, the daughter of Diego Rivera and his second wife, Guadalupe Marín – features more than 100 dishes served in the Frida Kahlo and Rivera household. Have one of your family members join us in our outdoor teaching kitchen as Chef Katrina Flores takes you on a journey into the life of Frida with recipes featured in the chapter on June: The Meal of the Broad Tablecloths. Learn to make sopa seca de fideo, zucchini salad, cat tongue cookies, while sipping on a watermelon mezcal margarita. At the end of this class, you’ll go home with instructions on how to reheat your Mexican feast for four. Ages 21+. Contact [email protected] with questions.
