iNaturalist Workshop and City Nature Challenge – Distance Learning
Wednesday, March 24 | 6 – 8 p.m.
It can be challenging to know exactly what to look at when exploring the flora and fauna of the natural world. In this workshop Biologist Craig Hensley will show you how to use the citizen science digital program iNaturalist. Participants will practice using iNaturalist as part of the City Nature Challenge starting on April 30. Sponsored by San Antonio Water System. Participants will be asked to take a brief survey allowing the Botanical Garden to get credit from SAWS; participants will receive their refund and any WaterSaver Rewards Points. Fee: $10 deposit refundable upon completion of the post-workshop survey. Registration deadline is Tuesday, March 23 at 6 p.m. WaterSaver Rewards Eligible.
