Celebrating San Antonio’s designation as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, the Garden brings you an inspiring and intimate culinary experience with top chefs from around the city. Enjoy a four-part fresh tasting menu prepared with plants growing in the one-acre culinary garden along with drink pairings. Ages 21+.
Chef Bio: Chef Jaime Gonzalez hails from Southern California but has called San Antonio home for the last fourteen years. His culinary journey began when he was a child alongside his great grandfather and on trips to Baja and Zacatecas where he forged a deep understanding of his culture through food. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, he was previously Executive Chef at Hotel Emma’s Supper and most recently Executive Chef at Carriqui. In his new role as the General Manager at Carriqui, Jaime’s passion for ingredients, culture, and process fuel his desire to showcase our region’s foodways. Jaime was recently selected to be a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy Chef Ambassador.
