Classic Theatre Camp: Mexican Folklore (Ages 5-11)
Location
July 10 – 14, 2023 | 12:30 – 4 p.m.
Unlock stories of the past and be inspired by Imaginary Worlds’ larger-than-life living sculptures at San Antonio Botanical Garden. Campers will discover the stories of La Llorona, Quetzalcoatl, Tlaloc, and the Cempasuchil flower to inspire them as they create their own interpretation of Mexican Folklore. Participants will learn how to make a story come to life by using elements of theatre to create their own scripts, characters, props, masks, costumes, and set pieces for a performance. Ages 5-11.
Fee: $200 ($180 member)
Instructors: Classical Theatre and Botanical Garden Educators
Read the Garden’s Registration and Cancellation Policies for information about member discounts, refunds and more.
