Tree Management Workshop
Thursday, January 19 | 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Join us for a full day workshop to learn all about the care and management of Trees in Texas and San Antonio. This multi session class taught by local tree experts from Texas A&M and the City of San Antonio will cover a range of topics useful for professionals, homeowners, and tree care enthusiasts. The day will end with a Q&A session to cover any questions not addressed. Sponsored by San Antonio Water System and Bartlett Tree Experts.
- Session 1: Root Collar Excavation & Tree Injection Demonstration
- Session 2: Identification & Management of Oak Wilt and Other Tree Diseases
- Session 3: Common Insect Pests of Tree & The Threat of Formosan Termites
- Session 4: Minimize Tree Stress and Proper Pruning Techniques
- Session 5: Tree Diversity; San Antonio Oak Wilt Ordinance; Tree License Requirements
Fee: $65. 4.75 ISA CEU’s for certified arborist & 4 AG CEU’s. WaterSaver Rewards Eligible
