Dog Days: Rovers and Clovers

Dog Days: Rovers and Clovers | March 16-17, 9am-5pm | Saturday activities 10am-2pm

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your lucky dog! It’s a dog-friendly weekend at the Garden with swimming pools and water bowls throughout the Garden. Have brunch on the patio with your pup at Rosella at the Garden before heading out for a stroll. Tag your photos #RoversClovers and we’ll share them! Proceeds from the weekend benefit local animal charities. Admission ($12-$9) per person + $5 per leashed dog. Members enjoy free admission + $5 per leashed dog.

Fee:  Admission ($12-$9) per person + $5 per leashed dog. Members pay $5 per leashed dog.

Saturday activities | 10am-2pm
No activities on Sunday, but dogs welcome!

Dogs are welcome in the majority of the Garden with the exception of the Culinary Garden and Kitchen, the Family Adventure Garden, the Children’s Vegetable Garden.

Spring Break Sand Week

Spring Break Sand Week – March 8-15 | 9am-5pm

Kick-off Spring Break at the Garden with Sand Week! Ted Seibert, Master Sand Sculptor, will be at the Garden building an amazing sculpture on-site. Inspired to create your own work of art? Sand pails and shovels will be available for guests to try their hand at sculpting and playing with sand in the Family Adventure Garden. Pack your favorite SANDwiches for a picnic and bring a swimsuit to cool off in No Name Creek (splashing resumes March 3!).

Spring Break 17!

Unplug with the kids and get outdoors this Spring Break! Bring a blanket and picnic on the lawn. Dust off your camera or sketch book and let the Garden be your muse. Enjoy a week full of fun, drop-in activities – all included with general admission (free for Members).

Find a huge selection of native plants for your home garden.

Spring Break Family Drop-In Activities:
Tuesday – Friday (10am – Noon)

  • Plant a pollinator seed
  • Create art from reclaimed materials
  • See the new George Tobolowsky sculpture exhibit (made from found objects)
  • Enjoy a nature exploration activity

Culinary Demos:
Wednesday (11am-1pm)

  • Floral tea

Thursday (11am-1pm)

  • Fruit kabobs

Friday (11am-1pm)

  • Fruit spritzers

Saturday, St. Patrick’s Day (11am-1pm)

  • Mint, yogurt and apple snack
