Conservatory Horticulturist

The San Antonio Botanical Garden is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Horticulturist to lead the care and display of the Lucile Halsell Conservatory, a world-class facility designed by renowned architect Emilio Ambasz. This role oversees the Gretchen Northrup Tropical Conservatory, Robert and Helen Kleberg Desert Pavilion, Palm and Cycad Pavilion, Fern Grotto, outdoor Courtyard & Orangerie, and our signature orchid collection, soon to be showcased in a brand-new Orchid Pavilion.

Sales Coordinator

The Part-Time Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the San Antonio Botanical Garden’s venue rental program through proactive sales efforts and exceptional client service. This position focuses on generating revenue through effective sales communication, prompt follow-up, and detailed coordination with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from first inquiry to signed contract.

Seasonal Guest Experience Associate

The Seasonal Guest Experience Associate is responsible for making an exceptional first and last impression on the guests, and provides excellent customer service in a professional, friendly, and positive manner. Guest Experience Associates assist with general admission, as well as supporting special exhibition and event operations. This position reports to the Guest Experience Manager and Event Manager.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers must commit to 24 hours annually. Volunteers must attend volunteer orientation and any additional training needed for each program. Volunteer orientation is online. The cost of joining the volunteer program is a one-time fee of $30 background check. If this is cost prohibitive, please reach out to cblumenberg@sabot.org. Volunteers are required to be over 18.
