About the Program
The Children’s Vegetable Garden Program is an opportunity for children ages 7-16 to grow their own vegetables with the help of educators and volunteers. Each family is allotted a 3.5′ by 28′ garden plot and take the vegetables they grow in the Garden home. Every Saturday meeting features a planting activity or presentation to connect children to plants, nature, and the food they eat!

Program Details and Expectations
- Participants are expected to attend the Children’s Vegetable Garden Program every Saturday, February 14 – May 30, 2026 | 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
- Participants should: (1) be on time every Saturday by 8:30 a.m.; (2) wear closed-toed shoes; (3) follow Garden safety guidelines and procedures.
- An adult must be in attendance with their child each Saturday.
