Certified Arborist Test Preparation Course
Fridays, September 5 - September 26 from 9 am - 4 pm
Do you love trees and want to know more about how to care for them? This 4 day course will help prepare professional arborists for the ISA certification exam. Everyone is invited to attend to gain a better understanding of the benefits of trees, improve their tree identification skills, and better care for their trees. Fee: $250, includes the Arborist Certification Study Guide (a $115 value).

Tai Chi in the Garden

The ancient art of tai chi uses gentle flowing movements to
reduce the stress of today's busy lifestyles and improve health. Anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, can practice tai chi. Instructor, Ming Xie, has been training in and teaching tai chi for over 25 years. Enjoy the beautiful San Antonio Botanical Garden while practicing this "meditation in motion." Tai Chi 42 Form

A challenging, fluid form which loads the body with energy, this popular Tai Chi form is perfect for competition as well as for personal health benefits. It contains the best mix of well known styles of Tai Chi routines. Prerequisite: Tai Chi level 1 or three years Tai Chi practice is required. Ming Xie instructor. Fee: $120 (members $108).

A very popular Chinese martial art, Tai Chi Sword is based on Tai Chi movements with traditional sword techniques.
