Journey into the interior of Mexico to learn about traditional tamale making techniques with Chef Katrina Flores. You will make poblano chile rajas tamales with Oaxacan cheese, pork chile verde tamales, sweet guava cream cheese tamales, beet and orange arugula salad with toasted seeds and achiote dressing and Jamaica margarita. Bring the spirit of the la Tamalada to your house to celebrate the holidays San Antonio style. Participants pick up ingredient box ahead of time. A weblink and instructions on how-to pick-up ingredient boxes from the Botanical Garden will be sent 72 hours prior to the start of the class. A computer and internet connection are required. Recipes included. Ages 21+.
