Plant-Forward Cooking: Basil, Basil, Basil!

Basil is in season, and we’ve planted six unique cultivars with their own aromas and flavors! We’ve put together an educational talk on how to grow this wonder-herb at home, a chef demo featuring our cultivars, followed by a delicious multi-course tasting. Vegan and Vegetarian cuisine continues to grow quickly in popularity in San Antonio, and there’s a good reason why – it’s delicious! Come to the Garden for a green culinary experience, focusing on localism and seasonality, and well as exotic colors, textures, and amazing flavors.
