The Blue Zone: Long Life Cuisine

People in some areas of the world are known for living a long and healthy life, to a large degree from their local diets. We explore these places’ cuisines, and celebrate delicious, healthy recipes through multi-course demonstration and tasting. And we’ll harvest from our own garden, as well!

CHEF: Kids & Family Cooking Class

Five class course; January 24, February 7 & 21, March 7 & 21 6:00pm-8:00pm

Join Chef Dave as he combines nutrition and cooking basics under the trailblazing Culinary Health Education for Families (CHEF) program, into a five-part family-friendly hands-on cooking series. Enjoy a chef-prepared appetizer when you arrive, then prepare and taste several delicious, healthy recipes. Recommended for families with children ages 5 and up. Families will leave with recipes each class.
Fee: $30.00 ($27.00) fee includes one adult and one child, $5.00 ($4.50) per additional participant.

Cocktail Scavenger Hunt

Cocktails – the ultimate botanical elixir! Join our fun, self-guided photo hunt where we give you a list of ingredients growing in the garden, and you find, capture and present the images to our bartender, who will make you the cocktail! Cheers!

Tea Party How-to

Second Sundays January 14; February 11; March 11; April 15, 2018 1:30pm-3:30pm

Ever wanted to host your own tea party, but didn’t know what to make, or how to present? Dress up, come out, and learn from Chef Dave as he demos and works with class to prepare wonderfully petite treats, and have a paired tea tasting exercise. Recommended for adults and children 9 and up. Each class explores different ingredients.
