Do I need to make advance reservations?
Yes. Please complete the group visit request form and send it to programregistrar@sabot.org. For a Terrarium Ecosystem program or a guided adult tour, you must make reservations at least two weeks in advance of your visit.

How long will it take to see the Garden?
Most groups spend 1-2 hours exploring the Garden’s 38-acres. It is a self-guided visit so you are welcome to spend as much time in the Garden as you like. The Garden is open every day from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

What kinds of programs do you offer for groups?
Curriculum units are available for self-guided tours. In addition to our free curriculum units, school groups with a minimum of 15 students in grades 1-5 can participate in the Terrarium Ecosystem program for a program fee of $8.00 per student. Docent-led guided tours are available for adult groups. We require one guide per twenty guests. $50/guide in addition to admission fees.

What kind of financial assistance do you offer schools?
The San Antonio Botanical Garden Society has funds for transportation reimbursement for schools from the San Antonio area. There are no discounts on the group admission rates.
